Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2027 – Online Application Extended | Exam Date 28 November 2026
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2027 online application deadline has been extended. Students currently studying Class 5 during the 2026–27 academic year and meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online for admission into Class 6 (2027–28 session).

⚠️ Important Notice
- A candidate is allowed to apply and appear for JNVST only once.
- If, during verification, it is found that the candidate had already applied or appeared in JNVST in previous years, the candidature will be cancelled/rejected.
👦 Age Eligibility (Important)
Candidates applying for JNVST Class 6 Admission 2027 must satisfy the following age criteria:
- Date of Birth: Must be between 01 May 2015 and 31 July 2017 (both dates inclusive).
- At the time of admission, provisionally selected candidates must produce the original Birth Certificate issued by the competent Government authority.
- This age rule applies to all categories, including General, SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang candidates.
- If there is any doubt regarding the candidate's age, the candidate may be referred to a Medical Board for age verification. The Medical Board's decision will be final and binding.
📌 Eligibility Highlights
- Candidate must be studying Class V during the academic session 2026–27 in a recognized school.
- Admission is district-specific. Candidates should apply only for the JNV of their district of residence, subject to the prospectus conditions.
