The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 on November 30, 2025 (Sunday) in three sessions.

CAT 2025 is a computer-based test and is a prerequisite for admission into various Post Graduate and Doctoral programmes of IIMs. CAT scores are also accepted by many non-IIM institutions across India.

✨ Important Dates – CAT 2025

  • 📝 Registration Opens: August 01, 2025 (10:00 AM)

  • 📝 Registration Closes: September 13, 2025 (05:00 PM)

  • 🎫 Admit Card Download: November 05 – November 30, 2025

  • 🖥 Test Date: November 30, 2025 (Sunday)

  • 📊 Result Declaration: First week of January 2026 (Tentative)

🏛 Test Centres

  • CAT 2025 will be conducted in around 170 test cities.

  • Candidates can select five preferred cities in order of choice.

  • Once allotted, test centre cannot be changed.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).

  • Final year students can also apply (with provisional certificate).

  • Professional degrees (CA/CS/ICWA/FIAI) are also accepted.

🎟 Registration Fees

  • ₹1300 – SC/ST/PwD candidates

  • ₹2600 – All other categories

(Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.)

📚 Exam Pattern

  • Duration: 120 Minutes (3 Sections, 40 minutes each)

    • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC)

    • Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)

    • Quantitative Ability (QA)

  • No switching between sections allowed during the test.

A mock test will be available on the CAT website.

📑 Reservation Policy

  • 15% – SC

  • 7.5% – ST

  • 27% – OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)

  • 10% – EWS

  • 5% – PwD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)

👉 Candidates must upload valid caste/disability certificates in Govt. of India approved format.
